Calls Out Rep. Hoyle For Once Again Siding with Criminals over Law Enforcement and Public Safety
Eugene, OR — Today, Oregon’s 4th Congressional District candidate, retired Air Force Colonel Monique DeSpain, praised the capture of ex-Venezuelan ruler, indicted narcoterrorist Nicolás Maduro, in a flawlessly executed joint U.S. military and law enforcement mission, while calling out Congresswoman Val Hoyle for once again siding with criminals over law enforcement and public safety.
“Finally, America has acted swiftly and decisively to defend herself against narco-terrorists fueling the deadly flow of illegal drugs into our nation. I’m grateful to the brave men and women who carried out this mission, ensuring that fugitive narco-terrorist and illegitimate, ex-Venezuelan ruler Nicolás Maduro will face justice in the United States — on the very soil his criminal networks exploited for years,” said Monique DeSpain.
“With this limited national security action complete, the responsibility must immediately shift to the Venezuelan people and their duly elected leaders to govern and rebuild their nation,” added DeSpain.
“Dangerous illegal drugs have devastated American families and entire communities for far too long. Accountability matters. Today, career politician Val Hoyle once again showed that she does not understand national security and does not prioritize protecting the American people. She supported the last administration’s treasonous failure to act and left our communities defenseless against the flow of deadly narcotics. Once again, Representative Hoyle has taken the side of criminals over law enforcement — this time aligning herself with narco-terrorist Nicolás Maduro and his network of bad actors from Cuba to Hamas, Iran, China, and Russia,” said DeSpain.
“Oregonians deserve leaders who focus on protecting communities and saving lives in our United States and right here in Oregon — not pushing radical agendas while the crisis worsens,” stated DeSpain. “As a retired Air Force Colonel, I’m the only candidate stepping up for our District with real national-security experience, real leadership experience, and a proven commitment to ensuring the people of Oregon’s 4th District are safe and prosperous.
