Eugene, OR – Today, GOP House Conference Chair Elise Stefanik of the U.S. House of Representatives announced her endorsement of Republican candidate Monique DeSpain to represent Oregon’s Fourth Congressional District.
“I am proud to endorse Monique DeSpain for Congress. Monique is a fighter and will be a staunch advocate for Oregon’s 4th Congressional District and our nation in Congress. As a retired Air Force Colonel, single mother, and attorney, Monique understands how to get things done and doesn’t shy away from a challenge. Monique will fight to secure our border, combat the homeless crisis in Oregon, support law enforcement to reduce crime, and fight to get our economy back on track. I am excited to endorse Monique for Congress and look forward to the work she will do for OR-04 in Congress,” said Republican House Conference Chair Elise Stefanik.

“I’m very pleased and honored to receive the endorsement of Republican House Conference Chair Elise Stefanik in my campaign to oust corrupt career politician Val Hoyle and launch a new era of commonsense, results-oriented leadership that listens and acts on the top priorities of the people of Oregon’s 4th District in Congress,” said Monique DeSpain.
“Chairwoman Stefanik has set a high standard in Congress with her tireless work ethic, policy leadership, genuine grassroots connection with constituents, and laser focus on delivering real results. She is unapologetic about fighting every day to give her constituents a seat at the absolute highest levels of government,” added DeSpain. “It is exactly these attributes I’ve demonstrated serving my country for 30 years in the Air Force, standing up to the Governor on behalf of crime victims, and as a mom raising my twin boys as conservatives right in the heart of progressive Eugene. I will also fight to deliver these same results for my constituents in the 4th District, who are ready to end five decades of failure, neglect, and waste at the hands of career politicians and deploy me, a political outsider, to fight for them in Washington, D.C.”
